Two more ‘Pak Ee’ gang members held

PETALING JAYA: Two more members of the notorious “Pak Ee” gang were nabbed by police following a raid at their hideout on Tuesday.

Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said the Indonesians, aged 33 and 35, were picked up from a flat in Bandar Seri Damansara sometime in the afternoon, several hours after four other members of the gang were gunned down by policemen in Rawang.

“We recovered an assortment of luxury watches in the unit as well as several house break-in tools.

“We are now contacting all the victims of this group to collect their watches,” he said when contacted yesterday.

The duo have been remanded for 14 days pending investigations.

It is also learnt that the duo have admitted to being involved in four robberies in the Klang Valley.

Sources said there were other members of the gang still at large and efforts have been intensified to locate them.

On Tuesday, four foreigners involved in at least 15 robberies and rapes were gunned down after a high-speed car chase from Selayang to Rawang.

The suspects charged at policemen with parangs and sickles after being cornered, forcing the policemen to open fire at them. - The Star.
